• «մի տեսակ անուշահոտ ծաղիկ է. լտ. jasminuni fruticans L» (Տիրա-ցուեան, Contributo § 352) որ է ռուս. жac. минъ, ясминъ (տե՛ս Aнненковъ, էջ 180) Ագաթ. որ և յասմին Խոր. աշխ. յասմի Բժշ. -այս ծաղիկը պատկանում է Oleaceae ըն-տանիքին. նոյն ընտանիքին է պատկանում նաև syringa vulgaris L, որ է «եղրևանի, թրք. լէյլաք, ֆրանս. lilas, ռուս. cирeнь» (Տիրացուեան § 349, Aннeнковъ 346). ըն-տանիքի նոյնութեան պատճառով Պարսկաս-տանում yasaman, որ է «յասմիկ, жасминъ» ստացել է նաև «եղրևանի, lilas, ռուս. cм-peнь» նշանակութիւնը, որից էլ վրաց. իմեր. մինգր. iasamani «եղրևանի, cиpeнь» (Aн-нeнковъ 346), հայոց մօտ էլ բարբառներում եասաման «եղրևանի, cирeнь» (օր. Խոյում՝ ըստ Տիրացուեան § 349), որից և Կովկասի գրական հայերէնում սխալ անդրադարձու-թեամբ յասմիկ դարձել է «եղրևանի, lilas cирeнь»։ (Բոլորովին ուրիշ է յեսմիկ, որ է «ասորեակ, chamaelina silvestris Wallr» (Տիրացուեան § 159), տես հեսմուկ)։
