• «թևի մեծ երակը, բազկերակ, ռառևերակ». այս իմաստով գտնում եմ հե-տևեալ վկայութեանց մէջ. «Աղօթքն նման է մաճասին՝ որ է ի բազուկն. որչափ մաճասն կուտայ՝ նշան է թէ կենդանի է մարդն... և թէ դադարի, նշան է թէ մեռեալ է հոգին, ճանաչի թէ կենդանի է մարդն, յորժամ մա-ճասն հարկանէ». Տաթև. ձմ. հթ և ճծը. գըր-ուած է մէճաս Տաթև. հարց. 244.-նշանա-կում է նաև «բազուկ, դաստակ», ինչպէս ցոյց են տալիս հետևեալ վկայութիւնները. «երակ մաճասային» Մխ. բժշ. էջ 1. «մա-ճասին երակն» Մխ. բժշ. էջ 9, 10 ևն. գրուած է նաև միճաս Մխ. բժշ. էջ 32։

Փիլ. այլաբ. էջ 108, Տիմոթ. կուզ. էջ 292 ևն։ Նոյն բա-ռը եզակիով ունի Օրբ. հկճռ. գ. էջ 32 և զ. էջ 79 «Նախ մարմինն գոյանալ յապաւարտակի և յետ տեսականալոյ անդամոցն ի կերպս ձևոցն, ապա առնու շունչ և տպաւորի ի նը-մա կենդանութիւնն» (մի քիչ ցած՝ պարտ է գոյանալ մարմնոյն յարգանդի մօրն). «Սերմ առն և արիւն կնոջ ի միասին խառնեալ յա-պաւարտակի՝ լինի մարմին և գոյանայ մա-նուկն»։
