• -Վրաց. ბოზი բոզի «բոզ», ბოზება բոզեբա «բոզութիւն», թուշ. բոզոբ «բոզու-թիւն, շնութիւն», լազ. bozo «աղջիկ, կուս-դուստր», bozoba «աղջիկնութիւն, կուսու-թիւն», bozomót'a «սիրուն, քաղցրիկ աղ-ջիկ»։ Որովհետև բառի հիմնական նշանա-կութիւնը՝ «աղջիկ, դուստր» պատկանում է լազերէնին, ուստի հայերէնը փոխառեալ է կովկասեաններից։-Ինչպէս պոռնիկ՝ լոյլ-ներից և կաւատ՝ արաբներից, նոյնպէս և բոզ՝ Կովկասից նիւթի հետ միասին մտել է Հայաստան։ Թէ «աղջիկ» նշանակող մի բառ կարող է յետոյ «բոզ» իմաստն ստանալ, հմմտ. հյ. աղիճ և աղջիկ. ֆր. fille «աղջիկ, դուստր», բայց Պարիզի ժողովրդական լե-զուով «բոզ», գերմ. dirne «օրիորդ, աղջիկ, 2. ռմկ. բոզ» ևն։-Աճ.

Urgesch. 752 խլուրդ համեմատում է հսլ. krutoruiia, լիթ. kurmis բառերի հետ։ Bugge, Etr. u. Arm. էջ 114խուլ բառից՝ -ուրդ մասնիկով։ Müller WZKM 8, 281 (հայ. թրգմ. ՀԱ 1894, 294) հա-մեմատում է պրս. [arabic word] xuld? բառի հետ, որ փոխառեալ է արաբերէնից, ինչպէս ցոյց է տալիս արամ. [syriac word] xulda «խլուրդ» բառը. Müller հարցը-
