(միայն Խոր. բ. 39 ունի հոլովուած աչալրջացն, այլ ձ. աչալրջոցն, աշալրջոցն)։ Այսքան զանա-զան ձևերը բացատրելու համար պէտք է մեկնիլ հնագոյն *արշալուրջ բառից, որի յգ. հյց. հոլովն է *ընդ արշալուրջսն։ Սրա մէջ կրկին ր բաղաձայնները փոփոխակի կամ երբեմն էլ միանգամայն ընկնելով, ջ ձայ-նը յաջորդ բաղաձայնի պատճառով շ-ի վե-րածուելով և յետոյ էլ ջնջուելով, և ս արմա-տական կարծուելով ու լոյս բառի հետ շփո-թուելով՝ ձևացել են բոլոր վերի ձևերը։ *Ար-շալուրջք բառի հին նշանակութիւնն է «յետին պահ գիշերոյ՝ որում յաջորդեն նշոյլք լուսոյ առաւօտուն», իսկ արդի «aurora, արշալոյս, տճկ. շաֆախ» նշանակութիւնը յետին է։
